The Long Narrative

By David G. Paul · 28th Apr 2021 · 1 minute read

One of the most compelling things about Warhammer 40,000 is the richness of its world. Many authors have spent decades on the world-building task, and even though it may at times be inconsistent and might not always make sense, it adds to the depth of the stories being told. How many times has the myth of King Arthur been written about, and how many of those times have details been changed? It's a never-ending tapestry that is changed every time touch it.

What if there was more to it? What if we envisioned a campaign to obtain some artefact off a planet, or had to extract a squad, but first had to break through a blockade? As soon as you start to think about connections between the different game systems in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, it can become very exciting.
